Mickey Gingerbread House Ornaments

Crafting up some Disney Christmas fun today with these popsicle stick Mickey gingerbread house ornaments! Funny story…last week while we were at Walt Disney World I told myself about a million times not to forget to buy a Christmas ornament. And what did I forget? To buy a Christmas ornament, of course! Luckily, I had just the idea for a DIY Mickey themed gingerbread house. And you know I couldn’t resist making one for his favorite pup, too!

Here’s what you’ll need to bring a little extra Disney magic to your Christmas tree.

Supplies Needed
  • Popsicle/Craft Sticks
  • Mini Pom Poms
  • Brown & White Paint
  • Festive Stickers
  • Paper Straws
  • Red/Green Ribbon or Twine
  • Hot Glue Gun + Craft Glue
How-To

Start by assembling your gingerbread house(s) with craft sticks. I always find this step is easiest with a hot glue gun. And keep in mind you will need to cut some of your craft sticks, so make sure you have a pair of sharp scissors on hand.

Next, it’s time to get painting! Tip: Don’t forget to trace out your door ahead of time.

After your house is fully assembled and the paint has dried, get creative and add all of the embellishments to make it your own.

Lastly, add a loop of Christmas twine to the back of your Mickey gingerbread house and you have yourself a sweet ornament for your tree!
