Farewell, 2019! Hello, 2020!
Oh, 2019 you were a good one! Looking back I see how much growth has happened this past year. Sometimes it’s hard to see change when we’re in the thick of it just pushing through the daily grind, but goodness, I see it now. I promise I won’t get too sappy, but I look back on 2019 and I truly smile. I took a leap of faith and decided to relaunch this blog, and boy, am I so glad I did! Nightly Hair Care Routine for Kids
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #JohnsonsKidsHair #JohnsonsKids #CollectiveBias Happy December, friends! This fall, I’m heading to Kroger to stock up on the essentials. Kroger is our…

This post is sponsored by Sensible Portions but the content and opinions expressed here are my own. Does anyone else feel that November has completely flown by?! It seems that most people are already in full Christmas mode, but we can’t forget that Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This year we are hosting dinner at our house for the first time in years, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Last year at this time we were still in the middle of unloading a moving truck, so needless to say I did zero cooking last Thanksgiving. This year we are cooking a huge family meal complete with a…

The Teal Pumpkin Project
Life with a child with food allergies can no doubt be tricky – especially this time of year with so many treats everywhere. Luckily, the Teal Pumpkin Project aims to make trick-or-treating fun & safe for everyone, including food allergy families! By displaying a teal pumpkin on your porch & having non-food treats available, you can help to make kids with food allergies feel included this Halloween. Teal pumpkins signal to allergy families that your house is a safe spot to stop! How can I participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project? As a food allergy mom, I can promise you it means the world to us when someone displays that…
