Even though summer officially arrived a few weeks ago, it’s not too late to make a summer bucket list for your family! This past weekend we sat down together and compiled a list of things we want to do this summer. It was fun to get our 4 year old involved in making this list and hearing what he wanted to do during summer break.
Hooray! It’s officially summer! And summertime for us means jam packed days of kid activities mixed in with lazy days at the pool. Both of my kids are in preschool during the school year, but during the summer months we still like to stay busy. In between summer camps and swim lessons, I try to carve out time for learning activities and crafting. When my sisters & I were younger, my mom always spent time doing arts & crafts with us during the summer months. I have such fond memories of spending this time with my mom and I love carrying over that tradition with my own kids today.

If you have small children then you know dining out isn’t exactly the same experience as it was back in the pre-baby days. It’s often times chaotic, frustrating, and just plain loud. But, there are ways to make it easier for both kids and parents. It’s all about preparation and keeping them BUSY!
Today I’m going to show you how to put together a simple busy bag for your toddler and/or preschooler. No crafting or lengthy prep work needed!
This week we are continuing with our Disney World series. I took a short break from our WDW posts to share some of our crafts and family fun activities for the summer, but this week we are back to it! Today I am sharing the best rides & attractions for toddlers/preschoolers at my favorite park, Magic Kingdom. In case you missed my previous posts, I’ve also shared our favorite rides over at Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
When you think of summertime what dessert pops into your head? S’mores, right?! This classic summer dessert is an absolute favorite of ours. I mean, what’s not to love about a warm gooey chocolate dessert?! There’s just one problem – we never feel like dragging our fire pit out to make just one.
