Easter Occasions Bin

Happy March, friends! It’s finally beginning to feel like spring here, so we are kicking off this brand new month with some Easter fun! One of the things I’ve been meaning to do is put together an Occasions Bin inspired by the amazing @occasions.byshakira. And I thought what better time to start this new tradition in our home with Easter on the way in just a few short weeks! So, I decided my first Occasions Bin would be an Easter Occasions Bin. I don’t know about you, but Easter colors are my most favorite. They are just so pretty & bright and make me so very happy!

What is an Occasions Bin?

The idea behind this holiday basket is to create a special place out on your kitchen counter where you can display your fun holiday goodies thus actually using all of it 😉 How many of us are guilty of buying allll the cute holiday plates and napkins but forget to actually USE them?! I know I’ve been there!

And that’s where the Occasions Bin comes in. It’s there to inspire you to create simple moments of magic for your family. Whether it’s adding a fun napkin or bunny shaped sandwich to their lunchbox or surprising them with a themed after-school snack on a cute paper plate. And I promise it doesn’t have to be anything fancy either!

What do you put inside your Occasions Bin?

I started by adding some Easter grass to the bottom of our basket, threw in some paper plates, cups, and napkins (all found in the dollar bin at Target) added a few colorful straws, a bunny cookie cutter and some Wilton sprinkles. Lastly, I made this simple Easter egg garland using paint chip samples (similar to the one I shared for Valentine’s Day) to give our basket an extra pop of color!

Keep the basket on hand and then switch out the contents inside for the holidays and occasions that are most important to you and your family ❤️

xo,

Sumer

Let’s be friends!
