Halloween Cupcake Decorating for Kids
Hooray! It’s officially Halloween week! And we are kicking things off with an easy, yet delightfully spooky treat. Grab a few supplies (listed below) and surprise your kids with a Halloween cupcake decorating station!
You may remember the art palette cupcakes I shared way back on Valentine’s Day (doesn’t that feel like a lifetime ago?!), but thought I would share this easy activity again with a spooky spin on it!
Supplies Needed
- Paint palette (available at any craft store)
- Box of your favorite cake mix + frosting (we’re keeping it easy today, friends!)
- Assortment of fun + festive toppings
Top it off with…
- M&M’s
- Candy Corn
- Sprinkles (in a variety of colors + shapes)
- Candy Eyes
- Chocolate Chips
- Skittles
- Mini Marshmallows
Mom Hack: let your kids frost their own cupcakes with a jumbo Popsicle stick.
Get creative and turn this into a sweet after-school activity or get the whole family involved and host a cupcake decorating contest!
What is your favorite cupcake topping? Personally, I’ve never met a cupcake I didn’t like, but give me alllll the sprinkles, please!
xo,
Sumer
Let’s be friends!
