Halloween Themed Bento Lunch

Let’s BOO this! Today we are continuing our spooky season fun with a Halloween themed Bento lunch. Halloween is actually one of my favorite times of the year to pack my kids themed lunches. The possibilities are endless and I love surprising my kids with a different lunch each day. This easy Bento box lunch is actually dairy-free, nut-free and is sure to be a hit with your kids!

What’s Inside?
  • Ghost Sunbutter Sandwich
  • Bat (Vegan) Cheese Slices
  • Baby Carrots
  • Veggie Chips
  • Sprinkle Oreos
  • Candy Corn
How-To

To make the sprinkled cover Oreos I simply dipped them into melted coconut oil before dipping them into our Halloween colored sprinkles. Let set on parchment paper for a few minutes before placing them in your Bento box.

My goal for this lunch was to make it fun, yet achievable for parents to recreate in under 10 minutes. Themed lunches don’t have to be overly complicated. A few small details can make any lunch feel extra special!

Tip: Stock up on holiday themed cookie cutters whenever you see them on sale. I can usually find them for $1 at Target or Michaels. I use cookie cutters almost every day to add a little something special to my kiddos’ lunches. We use them for sandwiches, veggies, lunch meat cut-outs, and even cheese slices!

And special thanks to Bentgo for sending us an awesome package full of lunch box goodies to kick off our school year!
