Valentine’s Day Baskets for Kids
Is anyone else still in denial that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner?! I feel like this holiday totally sneaks up on me every year, but it’s one that I secretly love. I’m not big on decorating the house for Valentine’s Day, but I do love surprising the kids with their “Love Baskets”. Think of it like an Easter Basket, but for Valentine’s Day!
Our Valentine’s Baskets are nothing over-the-top but I usually try to include a book, their favorite candy, and a few other small items. This year I opted to do themed baskets for the kids. I chose a “Hearts Galore” themed basket for London and I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I did a Star Wars theme for Noah this year 😉 Below is a list of some of my favorite items to include in our baskets.
What’s Inside?
- Books
- Themed Candy
- Art Supplies
- Simple Crafts
- Mini Erasers
- Stickers
- Silly Straws
- Mini Balloons
- Pajamas
Fill your basket with shredded paper & add a simple name tag to finish it off!
I just love how versatile these baskets are! And the best part is they can be used for almost any holiday – “Boo Baskets” for Halloween or even “Over the Rainbow Baskets” for St. Patrick’s Day. One of my sweet friends over on Instagram mentioned that her family does “Spring Baskets” every year to celebrate the 1st day of spring. The sky is the limit, sweet friends!
