DIY Paint Chip Heart Garland

Happy Valentine’s week, friends! If you’re looking for a last minute Valentine’s Day decor idea then I’ve got just the solution for you! This DIY paint chip heart garland took me less than 10 minutes to make and cost me $0.00 since I already had the supplies on hand. Read below for the how-to on this simple DIY.

Supplies Needed
  • Paint chip samples (free at your local hardware or paint store)
  • Twine or ribbon
  • Heart paper punch
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors
How-To

Start by measuring out your twine or ribbon to see how long you need your garland to be.

Next, simply use your heart paper punch to cut out a variety of colored hearts. You can even use different sized paper punches to create fun patterns!

Lastly, add a drop of hot glue to the back side of your heart cut-outs and attach to your twine.

It’s that simple, friends! You could also use a tiny hole punch and attach your hearts to the twine that way, too!

Get Creative!

What I love most about this project is that you can switch things up for any holiday and use different shapes and colors to add a pop of color wherever and whenever you need it! It’s so simple that even kids can join in on the fun.

Add this DIY paint chip heart garland to any Valentine’s gift basket, themed book shelf or simply use it as party or home decor!
