Rainbow Popsicle Stick Bird Feeder Craft
For the past few months the kids & I have been watching a little blue bird who lives in a tree in our front yard. London calls it her “birdie friend”. Awhile back she asked to make a bird feeder for her “friend” from an empty juice box, so we did. Bless her little heart but the bird feeder is entirely too small for any bird, but it makes her happy to know she is helping in a small way. So, a few weeks ago we decided to get crafty with some rainbow popsicle sticks and make a much more practical bird feeder for her little friend 😉 If you’re…

Rainbow Mickey Mouse Craft
What do you do with a basic paper plate, a few cotton balls & some paint? Well, you turn it into a Rainbow Mickey, of course! Noah’s teacher challenged his 1st grade class to take part in the #aworldofhearts movement this week by creating colorful hearts & rainbow drawings to share. And since the kids and I had already filled our windows with colorful hearts a few weeks ago, I wanted to come up with something fun we could create to still participate. No surprise here, but when I think of HOPE, Walt Disney always comes to mind. And then suddenly it clicked – we’ll turn Mickey into a RAINBOW!…
